in my 2-beer-fueled angst, i forgot that i went to a crazy seance on devil's night. i almost didn't go, but as i was returning from borrowing a movie, i saw hot lauren from last year on her way to it. scary noises were heards, things fell over, candles shattered, cabinets opened and girls cried. standard stuff. good times.

today started off like it was going to be fucked. when i took a shower yesterday, everything was fine in the bathroom, but today the shower wouldn't drain at all, so i had to abort before i was done. i need my half hour shower to operate at full capacity. bobby acted like he was going to go buy draino but then he decided not to and now the nearby store is closed. so i don't get a shower tomorrow. however, after this, things improved. i feel like i rocked the hell out of my graphic design quiz and econ exam, so that is nice. on top of that, on the way back from dinner i found a box full of three computers' worth of parts with a sign that read "free to poor college student." i am going to build one, and it will be sweet.
